Customized Protection for Your Furry Family Members

Thanks to advancements in veterinary medicine, your pet can be protected from most major infectious diseases with modern vaccines and preventative treatments. Many of these options didn’t exist just a decade ago!

Why Vaccinate?

Vaccines help prevent serious illnesses like distemper, parvovirus, rabies, Lyme disease, and more in dogs, as well as feline leukemia, panleukopenia, and feline immunodeficiency virus in cats. Our team will help you choose the right vaccinations based on your pet’s lifestyle and the latest veterinary guidelines.

Core Vaccines

Core vaccines are essential for all pets:
Dogs: DHPP-L (covers distemper, adenovirus, parvovirus, parainfluenza, and leptospirosis) and rabies (required by law in Connecticut).
Cats: FVRCP (protects against panleukopenia, calicivirus, and rhinotracheitis) and rabies (also required by law). Even indoor cats need rabies protection!

Non-Core Vaccines (Highly Recommended)

Dogs: Bordetella (kennel cough) is a must if your pup goes to daycare, dog parks, or boarding. Lyme disease is prevalent in our area, so we strongly recommend vaccination along with tick prevention.
Cats: Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) spreads through saliva and bites, making it a risk for outdoor cats—and even indoor cats who might slip outside.

We personalize vaccine schedules to protect your pet without over-vaccinating. Call us to learn more or schedule an appointment!
